In the heart of London a Burlesque club called the ‘Gin and It…!’ is thriving during post war Britain. People come from miles around to relax and enjoy the sensual and seedy offerings of the club. Amongst the glamour of the Burlesque girls, velvet curtains, satin sheets and feather boas, the heart of the club beats to the lives and loves of its dancers and customers. At the very heart of this are the lives and loves of eight people who become inexplicably entwined.

The Gin and It Club:

An intriguing web of lies and deceit surround the infamous Gin and It Club. Situated in the heart of London’s Soho area the club attracts people from miles around who come and sample the delights and pleasures that the club has to offer.

Although there is a sense of depression and sadness in Post War Britain, the Gin and It Club stays determined and committed to offering the same sensual and seedy appetisers that it has served up for many years.

At the heart of the club lies the beauty and sexuality of its headline act Celina, a burlesque dancer who cannot seem to get enough of the limelight. It is through her that the club lives and breaths and because of her that the story of ‘Gin and It…!’ unfolds.

Celina is the catalyst for every twist and turn that the clubs dancers and customers make; she is the spark that ignites the flames of passion in the hearts and minds of many.
